Barbican is a well-known brand especially popular in Saudi Arabia. It’s a non-alcoholic beer. They needed to make a positioning ad, so we came up with a song to position the brand and its consumers. As we say in the song, Barbican is the choice for cool guys and it makes everyone cool but wise, chilled but enthusiastic, and we called it the Barbicany guy.
It was a collaboration with a Saudi artist called Tariq al Harbi, a popular singer in Saudi Arabia, and the song was incredibly popular.
